The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar: the iconic guitar that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps all the foundational specs of the instrument, while taking the Custom platform to new sonic territories.
The Mahogany body with the new Shallow Violin Carved Maple top and Flame Maple veneer offers a rich warmth and depth that complements the beautiful aesthetic. With a Wide Thin profile, 25″ scale length and of course, 24 frets, the Maple neck feels really comfortable and familiar. The iconic PRS birds sit proudly atop the Rosewood fingerboard for the definitive PRS experience.
A pair of TCI “S” pickups offer superb tonal variation and maximise the guitars natural resonance and sustain and with the extended high and low end the TCI “S” deliver uncompromised clarity. Like the Core Series instruments, the SE Custom 24-08 features two mini-toggle coil tap switches that individually split the humbuckers into true single coils for a total of eight pickups configurations. Fitted with a PRS Patented Tremolo and PRS Tuners you can expect great stability.
The PRS SE Custom 24-08 is a great example of the quality work coming out of the PRS SE factory these days.
