Paul Reed Smith are somewhat newcomers to the world of the guitar, but my gosh have they made an impact. With inspiration taken from an obvious source, they’ve still somehow managed to put their stamp on this guitar, and they’ve done it very convincingly!
With the PRS-made 635JM pickups offering a bit more bass than other single coil counterparts, this is perhaps a traditionally-voiced instrument for someone more used to a modern S-Type guitar. Everything about this guitar is classic, from the looks to the tone – and it might even make you play like John Mayer…
