This is a wonderful old post-war Martin 000-18 built during 1948 at the Martin facility in Nazareth Pennsylvania. It plays and sounds lovely and has the sweet tone that only a 72 year old acoustic can produce. As far as we can tell it is all original, and any odd crack that’s needed attention has been treated/repaired by one of the top guitar makers in the UK. The 000 body size is favoured by Eric Clapton, and is a very comfortable size to play. Comes complete with a top of the range newer deluxe Martin hard case.

The C. F. Martin 000-18 string guitar is closely related to the OM or Orchestra Model. The key difference is scale length; the 000 has a 24.9 inch scale length, and the OM a 25.4 inch scale.
As an ’18’ model, it pairs a Sitka (Possibly Adirondack) Spruce top and bracing with Mahogany for the back, sides and neck, and Brazilian Rosewood for the head plate, fingerboard, and bridge.
