Gibson 1963 Hummingbird

For nearly twenty years we have been sourcing and selling vintage guitars. During that time I have been fortunate enough to have found, imported and sold various Gibson Hummingbirds all around 1967-1969. They have all been great players and in excellent to near mint condition. One was imported from Australia and looked just like a new guitar. Featured here is our latest addition and this one is probably the best we have ever seen, let alone offered for sale. It is in remarkable time warp condition, apart from the odd small blemish it otherwise looks like new. It’s all original including the case, which is also in lovely condition. It’s very difficult to find these early 60’s models, let alone close to mint condition like this one. Another amazing feature is that there are no lacquer cracks or weather checking, which is so rare with nitro lacquer of this age. Great action and play-ability and the sound is about the best we have heard. We are asking top book price, but it’s worth it because I doubt you will find a better one.
