This is Fender’s brand new American Professional 11 Telecaster Roasted Pine. This is the latest incarnation of the legendary Telecaster. I think it is possibly the best Tele they have built.
This is what they say about it.
Fender’s flagship range just got better, introducing the Fender American Professional II series! The American Professional II Telecaster features improved tone thanks to the V-Mod II pickups and enhanced playability thanks to refinements to the neck and hardware making an already impressive instrument even better.
This particular Tele features a roasted pine body which is a less conventional option but still traditional nonetheless. Fender have been using pine since 1950 but now they’re bringing it back as a standard production option for the American Professional II series. Lightweight with a strong grain pattern, roasted pine is a great option if you want something different from the standard alder.
